The MOBA DOTA 2 (Steam) is like the eternal competitor to League of Legends and is especially popular in Eastern Europe. With the tournament “The International,” it has one of the most lucrative eSports events in the world. Now, Valve is planning a massive patch with update 7.33 that enlarges the map by 40%, introduces a new hero type, and much more.
What are the highlights in the new patch 7.33?
- The map has been enlarged by 40% to give players new opportunities to gather resources. This allows them to develop new strategies.
- There are two gates connecting the corners of the map, allowing players to teleport from one corner to the other.
- “Tormentors” are new neutral units, similar to mini-boss mobs, that spawn every 20 minutes: Their shields reflect damage back to attackers, and they become stronger with each death.
- 12 new camps and 2 new outposts are being added.
- Additionally, with patch 7.33, a brand new hero type is joining DOTA 2: “Universal Heroes,” who are not specialized in a single attribute but gain 0.6 from each.
