A streamer is insulted by her teammates, bombarded with flashbangs, and shot in Counter-Strike 2.
What happened to the streamer? A small streamer named “limepurp” posted a two-minute compilation of a match in Counter-Strike 2 on Reddit. She wrote: “Stop throwing games because there is a woman on your team.” A “thrown game” is referred to as a match that was lost despite having a chance to win.
The clip shows how some team members of the streamer ruin the game. It all started because limepurp was playing the SCAR-20. The streamer got 2 kills, which made her initially think her opponents were angry. Then she realized it was a teammate who wrote “Dumb Bitch” in the chat.
She replied that he was just mad because he was at the bottom of the scoreboard. After that, the player shot at the streamer, bombarded her with flashbangs, and continued to insult her. The insults were always directed against the fact that she is a woman.
Another player on the team tried to calm the situation and wrote that they should not be toxic and it doesn’t matter that she is a woman. However, that didn’t help, and a second player began to grief and insult the streamer.

“Valorant is not as bad as this game”
Streamer compares to Valorant: In the stream, limepurp then talked about her experiences as a woman in Valorant, the major competitor of CS2. A viewer wrote that Valorant is the exact opposite. The streamer then replied: “Valorant is not as bad as this game”
Subsequently, limepurp explained that she has also experienced such behavior in Valorant. While most players are relaxed in both Valorant and Counter-Strike, she estimates that she has such experiences in about 20% of all CS2 matches. In Valorant, she estimates it to be “only” about 10 percent.
Valorant is also considered a game with a very toxic community and is often compared to Counter-Strike due to some gameplay similarities. Also, in Valorant, some women have reported bad behavior from other players that they experienced because of their gender.
A case that gained attention involved the streamer TaylorMorgan. She was asked in Valorant if she knew what it felt like to be raped. She then asked Riot Games that such players should receive a permanent hardware ban.
In other games like World of Warcraft, women are kicked from groups and continue to have bad experiences.
