Hard to believe, but Rockstar Games has also developed games beyond GTA and Red Dead Redemption. LA: Noire (2011, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Switch, PC) was an innovative detective game for its time and is still considered one of the best in the genre. You can currently get the game for €6 on Steam.
What kind of game is LA: Noire? In LA: Noire, you play a classic detective thriller as known from movies and series. In the game, you investigate cases in Los Angeles in the late 1940s. The highlight is the interrogation mechanics.
The facial animations of the various suspects were so detailed for its time that you could tell whether the person was lying. But you have to be careful, as your own investigation might lead to accusing the wrong person.
Currently, a new role-playing game is achieving great success on Steam:

Brilliant detective game with incredible attention to detail. It’s quite exciting to search for clues and interview people to unravel individual cases.

One of the best single-player games of all time! A shame that it’s on the shorter side.
- ArBES:
This game represents a long-gone era when the name Rockstar Games was associated with innovative cutting-edge technology.
Even today, the technology and animations impress. Although the graphics are no longer up-to-date, considering the time, LA: Noire is still an impressive game.
