Hard to believe, but Rockstar Games has also developed games beyond GTA and Red Dead Redemption. LA: Noire (2011, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Switch, PC) was an innovative detective game for its time and is still considered one of the best in the genre. You can currently get the game for €6 on Steam.

What kind of game is LA: Noire? In LA: Noire, you play a classic detective thriller as known from movies and series. In the game, you investigate cases in Los Angeles in the late 1940s. The highlight is the interrogation mechanics.

The facial animations of the various suspects were so detailed for its time that you could tell whether the person was lying. But you have to be careful, as your own investigation might lead to accusing the wrong person.

How is the game rated? The game has 83 points on Metacritic in its PC version, and on Steam, the game has a good 85% positive reviews, with particular praise for the level of detail and the story.
