Lost Skies is a new cooperative survival game on Steam. With new screenshots, the developers now want to present the progress of the game and are officially starting the pre-alpha phase.
What kind of game is Lost Skies? Lost Skies is a survival game on Steam that you can play solo or cooperatively with up to 6 players.
In Lost Skies, you explore an open world of floating islands. You build and control your own airship. The content is supposed to revolve around exploring ancient technologies, combating great threats, and weathering fierce storms.
The developers have already promised a lot of features for the game, which MeinMMO author Nicole has already listed for you a few months ago.

How do you sign up for pre-alpha? If you are interested in getting to know Lost Skies in the pre-alpha, you should be active on the official Discord channel of the game and then register for the open playtest.
Whether and when you get access to the pre-alpha depends on the developers.
What does the pre-alpha offer? Currently, Lost Skies is starting the pre-alpha phase. In connection with this, the developers have uploaded three new screenshots to show even players who do not participate in the playtest how far development has come since May 2023.

Developers want to show in the pre-alpha what the world of Lost Skies has to offer
The three screenshots below show some characters from the game in different areas and actions. Among other things, they fly through the air with a glider or swing through some ruins using a grappling hook.
A third screenshot provides a good view of the floating islands in the open world.
According to the developers, new islands for exploration will be added in the pre-alpha. Some of these islands are even said to have been created by players from previous playtests.
Players could design these themselves during the previous playtest. Creating islands is a feature that is to be firmly embedded in the game after full release. Players will be able to upload their custom-built islands for other players.
In the pre-alpha, Lost Skies wants to show right now how complex and beautiful the islands are and present various ruins of the ancient civilization that were shaken by a mysterious event.
