The upcoming sandbox MMORPG Dragon and Home reminds one of Minecraft with its colorful pixel look, but incorporates plenty of fantasy and medieval elements. The game is set to be released on Steam in 2021.
What is Dragon and Home? By looking at images and videos of the upcoming game Dragon and Home, one might think it is a Minecraft texture mod with a medieval aesthetic. The colorful blocky pixel look and the gameplay seem to be heavily inspired by Minecraft.
Here, you wander around the world, collect resources, craft items from them, and build epic structures, entire cities, and even formidable castles.
In addition, there are typical MMORPG elements like dungeons and bosses that you can battle with your friends.

Minecraft MMORPG for fans of dragons and medieval themes
What are the features? In Dragon and Home, you can play as one of three classes. There are:
- Warrior
- Wizard
- Hunter
The class depends on what equipment you bring. Therefore, you can easily switch between magic and melee by, for example, putting down the staff and equipping a sword and shield instead.
In addition to fighting, there are many peaceful activities. You can build houses and entire cities and, among other things:
- Fish
- Craft items
- Grow herbs
You have many different building styles to choose from and can, among other things, build a Japanese castle or an ice palace.
When is the game coming out? If you are already eagerly rubbing your hands and want to jump into Dragon and Home, you can be excited. The game is set to be released in 2021. The developers did not give a specific date, but the game is expected to come “in late 2021,” so likely by the end of fall or in winter.
