In the survival game Enshrouded, you can use magic and fight various enemies with spells. However, one spell is currently stronger than it should be.
Which spell is it about? The spell is called “Acid Bite” and causes a solid amount of initial damage as well as poison damage on top of that.
The poison damage significantly reduces your enemies’ health bar with each tick. For example, a video is circulating on Reddit showing a player defeating the boss enemy “Fell Wispwyvern” with the spell. After just three ticks of poison damage, the creature was defeated.

In the comments under the Reddit post, the poster also writes that he has not found any boss that could withstand more than 3 hits from the spell.
The only slight downside of the spell is that the animation for casting it takes noticeably longer than it does for other attacks. Nevertheless, Acid Bite is so strong that the developers of the survival game have already spoken up and announced a change.
The spell is much stronger than planned
What do the developers say about the spell? On Reddit, an employee of Keen Games, the developer studio behind Enshrouded, responded to the video where the player kills the Fell Wispwyvern with a single attack.
According to him, the spell is currently bugged and therefore significantly stronger than it is supposed to be. The development team is already working on fixing the error.
Until the overly high damage of the spell is successfully fixed, the developer wishes everyone a lot of fun “melting” everything possible with the attack.
If you want to use the Acid Spit spell in its full, unpatched strength, you should hurry. With such a strong attack, it is definitely advantageous that the survival game does not rely on player-versus-player combat and completely forgoes PvP.
