Steam: In a new building game you have to take care of insignificant people and then awaken your dark god

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to lead a dark cult? If not, now would be the right time to find out. Because soon a new building game will be released on Steam, in which you can live out exactly this fantasy.

What game are we talking about? Worshippers of Cthulhu takes a classic building game and combines it with the dark and mystical world of horror author H. P. Lovecraft.

You are the leader of the Cthulhu cult, whose only goal is to awaken their dark god and lead insignificant humanity to its inevitable fate.

When and where will the game be released? Worshippers of Cthulhu is set to enter Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2024. A specific release date has not yet been announced.

What can you expect? At first glance, Worshippers of Cthulhu looks like a typical city-builder. You build and manage an ever-growing city, along with its inhabitants. It features classic concepts such as:

• Establishing production chains
• Managing workforce
• Limited building space 

But what you build is not an ordinary city, but the seat of a dark cult. In mystical rituals, you can connect with powerful beings from the Lovecraft universe. This grants you secret knowledge and supernatural blessings that help you expand your cult.

And you will also have to deal with pesky unbelievers. But in doubt, they make excellent sacrifices.
