The upcoming extraction shooter Hyenas invites you to a beta test on Steam. We will show you how to participate.
When does the closed beta start? The closed beta of Hyenas starts on August 31, 2023, and is only available on PC via Steam. The beta ends on the following September 11.
How do you participate in the closed beta? To participate in the closed beta of Hyenas, you need to visit the store page of the game on Steam.
What game is it about? Hyenas is an extraction shooter by Creative Assembly, which typically orients itself towards games like Escape from Tarkov, but brings a crazy sense of humor and a colorful graphic style – this is already shown to us by Hyenas in early trailers.
Gameplay-wise, in addition to the extraction mechanic, which requires you to escape the area at the end of a round, there are primarily 3v3 battles against other players and various NPCs.
Additionally, hero mechanics like in Overwatch and battles in zero gravity are added to the shooter’s repertoire.
Hyenas is set to release on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

What is Hyenas about? In Hyenas, Earth no longer exists, and humanity inhabits space. The rich and wealthy live on Mars, while the rest of humanity dwells in orbit.
The eponymous Hyenas are in this alternate reality a group of thieves, including the players. They are after the treasures of the rich Mars inhabitants and make them their own.
The goal of your stealing tours are special artifacts of pop culture, including a Sonic figurine and a Rubik’s Cube.
