A new MMORPG called Lands of Kehliel is currently being developed, which features a unique aspect for quests: You must hurry to complete them before other players.
What exactly is Lands of Kehliel? The MMORPG Lands of Kehliel places you in a fantasy world where you experience adventures from the capital city, Arquebus. The city serves as a hub where you can meet other players, build a house, equip your hero with better gear, and accept missions.
You can improve your heroes based on a Fame level. You gain Fame by successfully completing missions.
In Lands of Kehliel, you must hurry in quests
What is special about it? When you accept a quest, you team up with three other players. Now you must hurry: three other player groups want to complete this quest as well. The goal is to be the first group to master the given quest.
Since it is not possible to repeat quests, you must be quick and also strategic. For each trip to the outskirts of the city of Arquebus, you can accept a maximum of three quests. If you fail one, you don’t have to return to the capital immediately, but can try another mission instead.
You have the option between large and small contracts. Sometimes you may even need means of transportation like ships to reach your destination quickly.
Why is tactic necessary? You can stop and slow down other groups by fighting them in PvP. Imagine it like a round of Fall Guys: You need to reach the goal as quickly as possible before they do. Use any means necessary to eliminate and slow down your opponents.
Every killed player must respawn at the last visited city, losing valuable time in the process.
During your missions, you will also find resources to craft better gear in Arquebus.
How do the battles unfold? You play Lands of Kehliel from a top-down angle. This makes it somewhat reminiscent of hack and slay games like Diablo or the 2021 MMORPG Lost Ark. The battles are also fast-paced and action-packed.
When will the game be released? Initially, the team plans a Kickstarter campaign, which currently has no set date. Once the crowdfunding is successful, the Alpha phase is expected to start within a year. This phase will also last for one year. After that, a Beta for Lands of Kehliel is planned.
The release will then occur on Steam after this Beta.
Will the MMORPG also be released for consoles? A release on consoles is not currently planned.
