Steam changes rules for the Summer Sale Grand Prix, which hardly anyone understood

In the Steam Summer Sale 2019, the Grand Prix game is currently running. There you can win a game from your wishlist. Valve recognized that the rules were confusing and clarified them.

The track pusher and the driving instructions have been improved to clarify the rules
Backend changes ensure that Team Corgi does not constantly stay in the lead
Code changes create more balanced teams
With a new item, you can now steal boosts and add them to your own team

How does the game work? In short, you join a team and try, together with all the other players in that team, to win the daily race. Valve then randomly selects members of the winning team to gift them a game. This game comes from the Steam wishlist of the chosen player.
