What kind of game is this? ASKA is a survival game on Steam that is currently in development. In co-op mode, the game can be played with up to 4 players.
In the Viking setting, you build bases with your friends, command NPCs, and fight against monsters that threaten your villages. To progress in the game, you need to gather resources found in the procedurally generated world. You accomplish this with your Viking ship.

New trailer shows how beautiful ASKA is
What can be seen in the trailer? The new trailer for the game showcases the core mechanics: building villages, collecting resources, and defeating enemies. The game aims to impress with its vibrant world and beautiful graphics. Additionally, the boss opponents are intricately designed, and the trailer features a mix of colorful environments and dark enemies to be conquered.
Right at the beginning of the trailer, a large enemy appears, which could be a boss. Later, it is also shown that enemies raid the players’ villages. Animals are also seen in the trailer, with one clip showing them being hunted with a bow and arrow. Additionally, according to the trailer, players will be able to explore caves in ASKA.
The building mechanics of the game can be glimpsed during the construction of the village. Buildings are placed and then constructed using blueprints.
Another aspect of the game could be food; the trailer shows that players need to prepare for winter with the harvest.
ASKA: Closed Beta in April – Here’s how to participate
When is the ASKA beta taking place? The beta runs from April 15 to April 21, 2024.
Important: Registration for the closed beta ends on April 5.
How do I participate in the beta? To participate in the closed beta of ASKA, you need to join the official Discord server of the game. After you accept the server rules, you will be able to see the “closed-beta-signups” channel. In this channel, you will find a link to a registration form that you need to fill out.
During registration, you will be asked about your favorite games and genres, as well as whether you want to play ASKA alone or with friends. You should also allocate enough time for the beta, as the developers want to test gameplay mechanics of the endgame.
You can also enter your friends’ email addresses, who may then also be invited. This increases your chances of being invited. However, your friends must register themselves.

Does registration guarantee participation? Registration does not guarantee access to the beta. The developers will review the registrations and then select participants. To increase your chances, your friends should also register, and you should mention each other during registration. If you are selected for the closed beta, you will receive a code via email.
To participate, you must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), which requires you to be over 18 years old. Recording and streaming gameplay is also prohibited.
