Fortnite: Battle Royale regularly offers special Starter Packs. These include a skin, accessories, and V-Bucks at a bargain price. The 4th of these packs is now on the agenda.
What is the 4th Starter Pack about? After you already received the Halo Skin, the pilot, and most recently the Thief from Payday/Money Heist, the “Summit Striker” is now available.
What does the skin look like? The Summit Striker is a masked skin with a hoodie and a kind of mountaineer’s outfit. Its colors are in white and orange. As usual, it comes with a backpack on the back.
What else is included? In addition to the skin and the backpack (which you can also use for other skins), you get 600 V-Bucks extra.
How much does the package cost? In total, you will likely need to pay 4.99 euros for the whole package. That alone is already less than what the 600 V-Bucks are worth, which is about 6 euros.
When does the new package come? According to a leak from Korea, package number 4 is supposed to be released on November 8, 2018. It might come on November 7, 2018, due to time changes. The end of the promotion should be December 19, 2018.
Bargain or Lure Offer?
Is the deal worth it? Since the Starter Pack is so cheap, you can’t go wrong with it. Those who like to buy and collect skins often should be pleased with the offer. However, Epic is not doing all of this out of pure friendliness. The Starter Packs are primarily intended to reach players who have previously hesitated to spend real money.
New customers sought: It has been proven that players who spend money in a game once have much less hesitation to reach for their virtual wallets again, especially when a cool skin appears in the regular shop. Even if the prices in the shop are much higher than the bargains in the Starter Packs.
