In Starfield you can add a whole range of NPCs as companions to your crew. Some of them even have detailed backstories and can form a relationship with the player. A player of Starfield has now experienced in their fourth playthrough what it feels like to be betrayed by one of these NPCs.

How did Starfield shock the player? The main story of Starfield is surprisingly short, but the New Game+ of the role-playing game holds some unexpected twists. One of these twists caught Reddit user “AntiChris_666” off guard as they wanted to experience the game completely in their fourth playthrough.
Depending on the playthrough, there are various scenarios presented by Starfield, because with each ending you enter a new version of the multiverse, where different circumstances may prevail.
We do not want to describe every situation in detail, but some NPCs behave differently than they did in previous playthroughs, “new” NPCs become members of the Constellation and parts of the Constellation face a tragic fate.
In the case of Reddit user AntiChris_666, Andreja waited in the lounge for the player, who entered the headquarters of the Constellation during the first main story mission.
Andreja is one of the companions who can join your crew and form a relationship with the player. The Reddit user also decided to marry Andreja in their first playthrough.
Heavily armed and with “House Va’ruun” followers by her side, Andreja explains to the player that she has hunted and killed all members of the Constellation on behalf of the great serpent.
The mysterious artifacts that you are supposed to collect during the main story are, according to Andreja, blasphemy. The Constellation has drawn the wrath of the great serpent upon itself, and now the player’s former wife is the tool of the divine being, destined to kill the player as he is the last remaining member of the Constellation.

How did the player react to the twist? As the Reddit user explains in his post, Starfield completely blew him away with the unexpected development in his third NG+.
Although he could now forget about playing a complete playthrough since all members of the Constellation were dead, the twist was still “fantastic” (via Reddit).
However, in the comments of the Reddit post, there is also a player who explains that they have not been able to forgive Andreja for her actions even numerous universes later. Overall, users primarily share the curious experiences they had in NG+.
