A player has hijacked an alien ship in Starfield. However, this was not just any ship and was transporting 20,000 credits.
In Starfield, you can decide for yourself how you want to play. Are you a law-abiding citizen or a ruthless criminal who terrorizes the inhabitants of the colonized systems?
The Reddit user “eldiabs” has decided to play as a space pirate. During a random encounter, he came across an alien ship, which he boarded and subsequently made his own.
However, the stolen ship had a surprise in store for the player: in the cargo hold, he found 20,000 credits (via Reddit).
What makes the ship so special? The ship that the Reddit user stole is a “GalBank Stormrider”. The ship thus belongs to the GalBank – the banking company found in the large cities of the colonized systems of Starfield.
After successfully hijacking the ship, the Reddit user took a look in the cargo hold. Instead of heaps of useless junk, resources, or weapons, he found 20,000 credits, as it is a type of money transporter.
Otherwise, the Stormrider is indeed a good ship that can impress with its specs. It features a “Class C” reactor, a cargo capacity of 2,610, a 900 shield, and a hull value of 1,047. The armament is also impressive.
Is 20,000 credits a lot? It’s okay. You can’t buy a big ship with it, but in this case, you just stole one anyway. However, the 20,000 credits can cover a large part of the registration costs.
Moreover, 20,000 credits is more than you receive in many missions. The tasks usually give between 3,000 and 5,000 credits, especially at the beginning of the game. So it was definitely worth it for the player.
What does a space pirate need? In line with the various play styles, there are useful builds in Starfield that can make your chosen path easier.
You should possess skills like “Targeting Systems” or “Flying” to be able to hijack and pilot ships like the Stormrider.
