The SciFi role-playing game Starfield will be released on September 6, 2023, and is already highly anticipated. It is not surprising that the first leaks are already circulating. A leaker has now released a response video to Starfield head Todd Howard, praising the game.
What are the leaks about? Bethesda kept quiet for a long time about details regarding the SciFi epic Starfield. In the meantime, Game Director Todd Howard was even the only person allowed to speak about unpublished information regarding the game.
However, once the first review keys were in circulation, the leaks could not be stopped. Initial impressions, as well as details about the story and gameplay, became known. Bethesda was not particularly pleased about this, though one thing annoyed PR Director Matt Frary even more than the leaks themselves.
YouTuber DHavenShadow, who allegedly leaked Starfield gameplay on YouTube, has now published a video addressing Todd Howard personally and praising the game.
Leaker praises Starfield
What kind of video is this? In a YouTube Short, DHavenShadow announced that Starfield is just right for gamers looking for a different type of game. However, it takes time and a lot of reading.
Addressing the Starfield head, he continues: “Todd, no offense. It’s a good game. Comes at just the right time, with leaving Earth.” That’s something you don’t want to miss, according to the leaker.
The gameplay has apparently disappeared from DHavenShadow’s channel following a copyright strike from Zenimax.
Update August 24: Meanwhile, the leaker’s response video has also been removed. Instead, you can find here an excerpt of the video via Twitter:
Meanwhile, other fans are trying to get through the remaining time until the release as spoiler-free as possible. On Twitter, tips are being shared to protect oneself from spoilers. It is advisable to mute certain keywords from the outset.
This can be set up via the gear icon in the notifications. Other Twitter users are sharing blocklists with accounts that are likely to post spoilers. In the comments, however, one should not look too closely at such posts, as others might enjoy putting spoilers right there.
