In Star Wars Battlefront a teaser trailer gives a glimpse of the Battle of Jakku, the first DLC.
The “Battle of Jakku” will be a free DLC that will be released only a few weeks after the release of Star Wars Battlefront. It is expected to create closer ties to the soon-to-be-released Star Wars film “The Force Awakens.”
Two maps will be added with the DLC, but the developers of Star Wars Battlefront have not yet revealed which modes will be supported there.
The Battle of Jakku takes place after the Rebels’ victory on Endor, with players able to participate in this battle and experience what led to the devastation seen in the Star Wars film. While this DLC is free, EA plans four more that will expand the universe, but those will cost money.
The Jakku Battle DLC for Star Wars Battlefront will be available to pre-order customers on December 1st on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. Everyone else will have to wait until December 8th. The Star Wars craze will then kick off in theaters on December 18th.
