For the online shooter Star Wars Battlefront, EA has announced information for today. It is likely about the January patch.
With the image of Luke, Han, and a Tauntaun on the icy planet Hoth, EA has announced a “cold front” for today.

If you have just been following the news about Star Wars Battlefront in a hibernation-like state: A January update is expected. In a video from EA Brazil, costumes for Luke Skywalker and Leia in the Hoth look were announced. However, the video was likely incorrect and was subsequently deleted – so it might have been that Luke and Leia were not meant, but Luke and Han.
More important question: What else is included in the patch? There has been a contradiction regarding an announced map on Tatooine, stating that no new map will come in the free January update. But in the video from EA Brazil, there were also private matches, daily challenges, and similar features, which would significantly enhance long-term motivation in Battlefront.
Whether any of these features will make it, will likely be clarified today. EA is unlikely to just present two costumes – even if they are really cool.
