The multiplayer shooter Star Wars Battlefront will feature the original voice of C3-PO. Will the robot also be playable as a hero?
A tweet from actor Anthony Daniels revealed it. He amused himself over the multitude of his tasks as the voice of C3-PO. One day he works on the hilarious Yoda Chronicles, the next day he speaks for the amazing Battlefront.
Electronic Arts, outed as the secret C3-PO recruiters, then confirmed via tweet: We got him!

Daniels provides the voice of the golden robot wherever he raises his head and annoys people with his somewhat arrogant manner. The surprising thing is, however, what he is needed for in Battlefront. As Game Informer reports, most speculations revolve around the fact that he appears in some cut-scenes. But maybe he will even be one of the playable hero characters. So far, only Darth Vader and Boba Fett have been confirmed. More will be revealed.
At E3, in the middle of next week, Star Wars Battlefront wants to reveal more details and show previously unseen gameplay.
