Actor John Boyega, Finn from the latest Star Wars film, misses the single-player campaign in Star Wars Battlefront.
John Boyega was one of the shooting stars from the last Star Wars film. As Stormtrooper FN-2187 or Finn, he made an impression in the film. He is also a long-time fan of the Battlefront series. As such, he misses something in the latest title of the series.
On Twitter, he now asked EA: Will you be bringing a complete offline story campaign?
EA replied: Have you tried the missions? “Yes,” Boyega said they are great. But they leave one with the longing for an opportunity to engage with the game within a narrative.
It’s clear: For Boyega, it’s confusing to kill stormtroopers online before one has first done that in a campaign, as it should be.
@EAStarWars Will fans get a full on offline story mode? It’s more of an enjoyable way to learn controls.

Well, it seems he is not alone in this feeling among many Battlefront veterans. EA’s official stance on the topic has been: Compared to how elaborate such a campaign is to design, too few players play them for too short a time in the end.
In recent days, EA emphasized again how important the Star Wars franchise is in their future plans. Battlefront and the MMORPG Star Wars The Old Republic have generated great numbers. For the future, they are planning more games in the universe “far, far away …”
