2018 will be an exciting year for fans of the online shooter Star Wars Battlefront 2. Dice and Electronic Arts have now explained what else is coming.
The roadmap for the rest of the year shows what new content Star Wars Battlefront 2 will receive. This is intended to provide a glimpse of the content and build anticipation among fans.

2018 will be exciting for Star Wars Battlefront 2
September – New Squad System: The month of September is just around the corner and brings new features for Star Wars Battlefront 2. This includes:
- The new squad system – This will spawn you with squad members to promote teamwork. The system will initially be introduced in the modes Galactic Assault, Blast, and Strike.
- The 91st Mobile Recon Corps and the 104th Wolfpack Battalion – These clone trooper outfits are intended for the soldiers of the Galactic Republic.
October – General Grievous: In October, General Grievous will arrive as a new hero for the Dark Side. The general of the Droid Army is trying to expand his collection of lightsabers.
November – New Hero, Outfits, and New Map: November will introduce three additional elements from the Clone Wars into the online shooter:
- Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi – The well-known character will be introduced as a new hero of the Light Side in November.
- Map Geonosis – On the new map Geonosis, you will fight in the Galactic Assault mode with the new vehicles STAP, BARC Speeder, and AT-TE.
- Clone Troopers of the 212th Attack Battalion – These outfits were designed for the Galactic Republic.
The Winter Will Be Hot
Winter – More Heroes, New Outfits, and a New Game Mode: In winter, there will be even more content for Star Wars Battlefront 2:
- New Heroes – The heroes Count Dooku and Anakin Skywalker are coming to the game.
- The Coruscant Guard – These outfits represent an elite division of clone troopers.
- New Game Mode – With the yet unnamed mode, you’ll experience a non-linear Star Wars sandbox experience where two teams compete for control points. The goal is to destroy capital ships.
