Star Wars Battlefront 2 (PC, Xbox One & PlayStation 4) receives the first free DLC “The Last Jedi” shortly before the release of the new movie. In it, you will see various content from the film, including new heroes, vehicles, maps, and even a glimpse of the next episode of the solo campaign.
In Star Wars: Battlefront 2, all DLCs are supposed to be free. The first free DLC will be released on December 13, 2017, and will be themed around the new Star Wars film “The Last Jedi”. You can see how closely the DLC resembles the film and what to expect in terms of heroes, maps, and vehicles in the newly released trailer for the Battlefront DLC “The Last Jedi” (embedded at the end of the article).
Colossal battles against huge walkers!
The highlight of the video is clearly the epic battle of the Resistance against the First Order on the new map “Crait”. Among other things, the giant walkers of the First Order known from the film trailer make an appearance. Additionally, the new characters Finn and Captain Phasma will also appear on Crait.
Next, we move to space, where the new map “D’Qar” provides spectacular action. There, you will also find the new ship “Tallie’s A-Wing” and new skills for X-Wing pilots Poe Dameron taken from the film.
Iden Versio vs. Kylo Ren?
Lastly, the trailer for “The Last Jedi” shows clips from the solo campaign. This game mode will also continue in the DLC. The story takes place many years after the majority of the original campaign at the time of the rise of the First Order. Iden Versio has aged, but there seems to be a younger protagonist (Iden’s daughter?).
Additionally, the wannabe-Vader Kylo Ren can be seen briefly. So you might have to deal with the hot-headed youngling. All this content will be available for free on December 13 across all platforms.
