The online shooter Star Wars Battlefront 2 will also be released in a Deluxe Edition, which offers interesting content – however, a purchase is not absolutely necessary.
The Deluxe Edition includes special weapons and modifications that every buyer can use right from the start. This includes:
Elite Officer Upgrade Pack:
- Blurrg-1120 + Grip Extension Modification
- Epic Ability “Battle Command”
Heavy Metal Upgrade Pack:
- FWMB-10 “Megablaster” + Gas Extraction Modification
- Epic Ability “Body Shield”
Assault Upgrade Pack:
- CR-2 + Trigger Modification
- Epic Ability “Grenade”
Master Specialist Upgrade Pack:
- A280-CFE + Scope Modification
- Epic Ability “Laser Tripmine”
All items can be unlocked
Many fans have wondered whether this content will be exclusive to the Deluxe Edition of Star Wars Battlefront 2.
Christian Johannesén, one of the designers of the shooter, spoke out on Twitter about this and explained that the contents of the Deluxe Edition can also be unlocked in the game. This means that those who have not purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game can also access the above-mentioned content – however, it will take some time to unlock all weapons, mods, and other items.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 will feature the single-player campaign long desired by fans of the first part but will also bring many changes to the online mode. Further details about the online shooter are planned for E3, which will be released on November 17 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
