In the Science Fiction MMO Star Trek Online, new recruits are being sought to fight against the impending threat from the Iconians: Delta recruits are wanted.
In April, Star Trek Online is trying out a fresh idea. It is said that the Iconians and their minions will soon attack us. We need every available man, every woman, every alien we can get to defend ourselves. Delta recruits are called fresh recruits. To make this a bit more enticing for the players, bonuses are being distributed.
Every new character created during the event will receive the designation “Delta Recruit” after completing the tutorial. As such, they can unlock special rewards for themselves and other heroes on the player account. And they will progress significantly faster: Up to three marks can be earned per week. Each of these marks increases expertise and experience points for the following week by 50% – and this applies to all characters on the account. So progress is more than twice as fast.
Existing accounts receive a free slot to make room for the Delta fresh recruit. The event started on April 2nd and is set to last for 7 weeks, until May 21st. We have already informed aspiring recruits about the additional rewards players can receive in this article about Star Trek Online.
