Star Trek Online, the science fiction MMORPG from Perfect World, regularly receives new updates called Seasons. Season 13 “Escalation” for Star Trek Online has been available for PC for over a month, and now the update is also coming to the consoles Xbox One and Playstation 4.
STO: Escalation Update – Miranda Cruiser and PvEvP Maneuvers
In Escalation, the story of Star Trek Online continues. This time, it revolves around the conflict between the Lukari and the Tzenkethi. Captain Kuumaarke needs your help to uncover the secrets of her people’s past. Additionally, the update includes new ships in the form of the T6 cruiser line.
In addition, there is a revision of the venerable Miranda class, the standard ship of Starfleet. Included is a special version of Miranda modeled after the USS Saratoga. The Saratoga was the ship on which Benjamin Sisko experienced the devastating battle at Wolf 359 against the Borg.
Another highlight of Season 13 is the new game mode “Maneuver”. This is a mix of PvP and PvE, where opposing teams must complete PvE challenges in time to win. Season 13 starts for PS4 and Xbox One on June 6.
