Players of Star Trek Online had to wait a long time for a new version of the Constitution class – Now it is available for a limited time.
Star Trek Online is gradually releasing new starships. However, the starship in question is not an ordinary one, but THE starship. The original Constitution class from the “Original Star Trek” series (TOS with Kirk and Spock), which fans have been waiting for many years, is now available in the game for a limited time. The catch is that you can only get the starship as a rare reward from a lockbox or have to spend your savings in the exchange.
Constitution Class available from August 25 to September 15
Since the Constitution class was only available as a weak T1 model, fans have long wished for a new, stronger version of the starship. However, the developers’ answer has always been “No”. But now the tables have turned and the ship is available in the game as a stronger T6 version. To get the ship from a lockbox, you need to have the random factor on your side.
If you purchase and open a R&D package from the C-store between August 25 and September 15, you have a chance of various rewards. You will either receive 10 Lobi Crystals or a special equipment package – Tier 6 ship of the 23rd century in addition to the R&D package. Depending on your faction, 3 different ships may be waiting for you in the equipment package.
- Temporal Light Cruiser (Class 6) – Constitution Class – Starfleet only
- Temporal D7 Battlecruiser (Class 6) – Klingons only
- Temporal T’liss Warbird (Class 6) – Romulans only
If you don’t want to rely on your RNG luck, you will probably also be able to buy the starship in the game’s auction house. However, since the starship is particularly rare, the prices for it will also be correspondingly high.
