The MMORPG Star Trek Online has been around for 8 years. Therefore, the developers are celebrating the anniversary with special events and gifts.
Star Trek Online first launched in February 2010. A lot has happened over the past years. There were:
- Three major expansions
- 14 seasons
- A total of 161 episodes
For the upcoming 8th anniversary, the developers are planning special events and rewards for the players.
Gifts, Events, and New Episode
Anyone logging into Star Trek Online on PC daily and visiting the C-Store will receive a gift until January 23. This includes uniforms and starships. Starting January 23, the long-awaited next episode “Skylla and Charybdis” of the current story arc regarding the Tzenkethi conflict will be released.
To stop the enemies, you must fly from system to system and assemble an allied fleet for the final battle. Additionally, Geordi La Forge from the series Star Trek: The Next Generation is back and will be voiced by the original actor Levar Burton.
The Ultimate Party with Q!
For the anniversary of Star Trek Online, even more features are added:
- You can finally redefine the modification of your weapons and items
- The Omegamolecule Stabilization Event returns. Find and stabilize these particles hidden by Q, and you can score a Bajoran Interceptor of the Denorios-class [K6] as a prize.
- You can also receive a special party fun from Q with special effects.
