Schalke 04 has had a hot week in the League of Legends. Star player FORG1VEN has left the LoL team, and a player from the 2nd team has been promoted. He had a fantastic day. Schalke clearly defeats the champion G2 Esports.
This was the situation: After 6 consecutive losses, Schalke decided to bench 27-year-old star player Konstantinos-Napoleon “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou. Nihat “Innaxe” Aliev (20) was set to play as the botlaner, having impressed in the Academy team.
FORG1VEN announces that he will leave the team. The roster of Schalke 04 is simply too weak and Schalke is not ready to change anything. With the new botlaner, Schalke lost the match 7 and was now at 0-7 at the bottom of the LEC.
G2 Esports, on the other hand, had won 6 games in a row before the weekend. However, they then suffered a loss against Misfits Gaming because botlaner Caps played poorly. That was actually an accident and should not happen again. The players of G2 Esports laughed about the game and took it lightly: after all, they were still at the top of the table.
Schalke clearly wins against G2 Esports in LoL
This is how the match went: Already after 4:26 minutes, the botlaner of Schalke, Innaxe on Ezreal, had collected 2 kills. For the 2nd kill, he teleported to the mid lane and caught Perkz, who was just about to get his 1st kill in the mid lane.
At 14 minutes, in the mid-game, G2 Esports was slightly ahead in gold, and not much action happened until then. Schalke continued to lead in kills with 3:1. There was no clear advantage in the lanes – the match remained balanced.

As it moved towards the end game, Schalke repeatedly managed to catch individual members of G2 Esports in numbers, who were scattered across the map while trying split-pushes to somehow win the match.
Once they had taken one down, Schalke aggressively sought further fights as a group to capitalize on the numerical advantage. During this phase of the match, the gold difference remained balanced, but Schalke raised the eliminations to 12-2. G2 Esports, however, managed to destroy some inhibitors, thereby increasing the pressure from minion waves.
In the endgame, Schalke stayed together as a team and sought the decision, while individual players from G2 Esports attempted backdoors to breach Schalke’s base and win after all. But ultimately, Schalke managed to return to their base in time, fend off the attack, and then win in response.
The match ended after 42 minutes with 27-8 for Schalke. The top laner Andrei “Odoame” Pacu (25) on Aatrox was voted player of the match with an outstanding 7-0-9. Botlaner Innaxe also clearly impressed with aggressive plays and strong skill shots.
FORG1VEN, who had said that the team was simply too bad, now faces a lot of mockery from the LoL fans.
The coach of G2 Esports, Fabian “Grabbz” Lohmann, says about his team that it was a bad week, from start to finish. A lot of little things added up. The substitutions really paid off for Schalke 04.
