In Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS & Xbox One) are rapper Drake and streamer Ninja extremely popular. It would only make sense for Drake to eventually incorporate Fortnite into his music. However, Drake will only do this if he gets a specific emote from his Hotline Bling music video in the game.
Fortnite: Battle Royale recently set a significant record on the streaming platform Twitch, as rapper Drake and Fortnite pro Ninja captivated 600,000 viewers simultaneously on Twitch.
Recently, the two discussed in a stream whether Drake would want to use Fortnite in his raps.
“Not without my Hotline Bling emote”
Ninja asked Drake in a stream to reference Fortnite in his music. After all, the game is an important part of his leisure time. Drake wasn’t against the idea:
“This really has to happen, but it has to happen the right way!”
What exactly Drake meant by “the right way” he soon elaborated:
“If Epic gives me an emote, the Hotline Bling emote, then I’ll do it. But until then I’m on strike!”
Additionally, in Drake’s opinion, Epic could also include a few more “super-relevant” dances in the game.
What is an online Bling emote anyway?
Let’s hope that Epic Games takes Drake’s suggestion seriously and actually brings his beloved Hotline Bling emote into the game. “Hotline Bling” is a song with a music video in which Drake performs a characteristic move at the end.
If you want to know what the Hotline Bling move looks like, you should check out the following video. A fan has already developed their own animation for the emote. Additionally, we have embedded the original video for you here.
