In the Kickstarter sensation Star Citizen, short-term free trial flights are available.
As reported by Gamespot, players can try the space MMO Star Citizen for free over the next few days. The offer is valid until March 15 and was originally only available to visitors of PAX East in Boston. Now the US site Gamespot has made the code publicly available for everyone.
To take advantage of the offer, players need to create a free client, go to this page and enter the code PAXEASTFREEFLY2K15.
This grants access to the hangar module. Players can take a few rounds in the Anvil Hornet F7C ship. In Arena Commander, they need to survive fights against waves of enemies. While the “real” client is expected to weigh 100 GB later, the free flight only requires 20 GB.
Star Citizen is currently considered the hottest thing in the Kickstarter scene since … forever.
