The mammoth project Star Citizen is slowly coming together. A new trailer gives the curious a taste.
Yesterday, the 2015 Game Awards were held – the mastermind behind Star Citizen, Chris Roberts, presented a new trailer for the game there together with Mark “Luke Skywalker” Hamill. Hamill will play a role in the single-player campaign “Squadron 42”.
Star Citizen is accompanied not only by constant media commotion and unrest but also by the astonished eyes of the fans: The project is extremely ambitious. It promises that various modules, essentially “individual games”, will together become the ultimate space simulation, mapping its own universe. And it aims for high visual appeal, seeking to meet the highest standards.
The new trailer shows Alpha 2.0, which is currently available for some backers on the test server. The trailer provides another glimpse into the big question: “What if these many modules with different gameplay elements really are completed and work together?”
