“Star Wars Squadrons” is a space shooter where you fight against other spaceships as pilots or complete single-player missions. From November 24, 2022, the game will be available for free for one week in the Epic Store.
Which Star Wars game is it? The game is Star Wars Squadrons, a sci-fi game featuring space combat from a first-person perspective.
It takes place after the movie “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” and deals with the last days of the Galactic Empire.
You are pilots of X-Wings or TIE Fighters and fight against other spaceships.

Fight alone or with other players in space
What does the gameplay look like in Star Wars Squadrons? The game includes a single-player campaign with 14 different missions that you must complete as part of a story.
In multiplayer, you have two modes available: In air combat, you can engage in battle against other players. Each squad consists of 5 pilots. In the 5v5 space battles, you then try to eliminate your enemies.
In the Fleet Battles mode, the setting is a space front where you must destroy the enemy’s large flagship. Again, two teams of five take part in the battle. Complete various objectives in combat to gain the upper hand in the battle.
There is a ranking system in the game. With each rank, you earn requisition points and glory, which you can invest in upgrading your ships and cosmetic modifications.

When will the game be free? In the Epic Store, the shooter normally costs €39.99 (as of November 18, 2022).
However, you can get the game for free starting November 24, 2022. The offer will be available for one week until December 1, 2022.
