A player chose the highest difficulty level in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 to have a real challenge. The result is a situation where he fights through a flood of Tyranids and survives.
What is this “lore-accurate moment”? The user QueenAnRevenge on Reddit fought through waves of Tyranids armed only with a knife and his secondary weapon. Despite being hit numerous times, he managed to survive in the end.
He described this situation as a “lore-accurate moment” because Space Marines in the Warhammer lore are also in desperate situations but always fight their way through. They do not give up, but fight to the death and master even hopeless situations.
Space Marines are superior to regular soldiers and can withstand much more due to their modified bodies than a normal human.

How did this happen? The player chose the highest difficulty level to play the game. His two teammates were already down, and his ranged weapon was out of ammunition. The only option was his knife, parrying, and occasionally shooting with his secondary weapon.
He had to defend himself alone against waves of Tyranids, including many elite enemies. Yet, the Reddit user managed to fight through. By getting some kills, he regained some ammunition, but he rarely had the chance to fire: the knife saved him much more often.
