Lies of P is currently available for PlayStation owners at the lowest price yet. However, some fans would prefer something quite different from the developer.
As with many other shops, the “Summer Sale” is currently taking place at the PlayStation Store, allowing players to get great games for the PlayStation 5 at relatively low prices. One of the highlights is likely to be the game “Lies of P,” which is currently a whopping 40% off.
This is good news for everyone who hasn’t been able to play the game yet – but the dedicated fans are waiting for something quite different.
How much does Lies of P cost? Lies of P is currently 40% off in the PlayStation Store, priced at €35.99. This offer is valid until the end of the sale on July 31.
What is Lies of P about? In Lies of P, you take on the role of a puppet created by the toy maker Geppetto – but in a rather dark and twisted world. You must explore the city of Krat, which has fallen into madness and is haunted by all sorts of bloodthirsty horrors.
As is common for souls-like games (in the style of Elden Ring), enemies are extremely deadly, and if you’re not careful, you’ll quickly find yourself trapped in a multi-part combo that snuffs out your character’s life lights before Pinocchio can grow a long nose.
It is all the more satisfying to master the combat system and take down enemies with quick reactions and good observation.
Why are fans dissatisfied? Looking at social media, for example on X, players are mainly waiting for information regarding the DLC. It has been announced for a while now, but since then, things have been quite quiet. Consequently, many are using the announcement of the price reduction to express their frustration over the lack of information about the DLC or a possible sequel.
Some also find it a “sham” that just a few weeks after a sale where the game was 30% off, an even better offer comes out (via X) – as they could have saved even more money had they waited longer. But hey, some people are never satisfied.
Will you finally get Lies of P for PlayStation now? Or are you waiting for the DLC release before you want to try out the game at all? In our editorial team, they found Lies of P so good that someone drove to the gym at night because of a rage quit.
