Soon, a new MMORPG will be available on Steam, where you will have to master your everyday life as witches

At the end of July, a new MMORPG will start in Early Access on Steam. At first glance, it resembles Palia, but allows you to master your daily life as witches. You can learn more about it here on MeinMMO.

Which game is this? The Canadian studio Digital Leisure is currently working on a new MMORPG called “Spellfarers.” The game is set to launch in Early Access on Steam on July 29, 2024. You can expect a relaxed sandbox adventure here, but with MMO and online co-op elements.

A trailer announced the Early Access on Steam. The graphics and gameplay could remind one of titles like Palia at first glance.

What can you expect? As the trailer shows, you can expect a typical, relaxed MMORPG in Spellfarers, where you have to master your daily life as a witch or wizard. You start your new life in a lonely house in a peaceful village. There, you are to get to the bottom of the disappearance of a wizard.

In the meantime, you will take care of your surrounding garden, plant crops, and decorate your new home according to your ideas. While managing your small farm, you should also be able to craft, fish, and explore your surroundings.

Through your daily life with a mysterious spellbook

As witches, you will of course have the opportunity to use spells. However, how exactly these will affect gameplay and what they can achieve is not yet clear. However, you will receive an old, mysterious spellbook and will be accompanied by an animal companion, such as a cat.

While mastering your daily life and getting to the bottom of the mysterious events, you can also interact with the villagers or other players in the village. You should even be able to form your own circle with fellow witches to collaborate together.

As developments are ongoing during Early Access, the developers state that there may naturally be some bugs and errors here and there. However, it is planned that Spellfarers will receive regular patches and that the developers want to incorporate player feedback.
