In a recent conversation, Herman Hulst, head of PlayStation Studios, explained how long games would remain exclusive for the PS4 and PS5 and when other platforms like PC would come into play.

How long will games remain exclusive for PS4 and PS5? In an interview with French gaming YouTuber Julien Chièze, Hulst was asked about the possibility of future PlayStation Studios games being released simultaneously for PlayStation and PC. He responded (via gamespot.com):
We at PlayStation Studios have a very symbiotic relationship with the platform. We are often the first developers to try new hardware and new controllers … It’s really great for the teams to see that their wonderful creations are also released on PC, often with the help of our newly acquired team [Nixxies Software]. There are more players, and that’s really helpful.
I think that we will wait at least one year between releases on … PlayStation and the PC platform.

Are there also exceptions? Yes, there actually are. These are expected to be live-service games. These are games that you play online or that receive regular updates and are developed over the long term. Hulst explained that these live-service games would play a special role. He stated:
Live-service games are a bit different because you want to have a really strong community and strong engagement when you go live. In the case of our live-service offerings, we could work day and night with PC and PlayStation.
2 years after the launch of the PS5, there are still few exclusives
At the present time, the number of exclusives that are only released for PlayStation is quite limited. These include games like Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, or the remake of Demon’s Souls. Many games are also still released for PlayStation 4.
