What happens to your points and collected trophies on PS4 and PS5
You should do this: If you are indeed a member of PlayStation Stars and still have points left, you should use them for collectibles and other items. Because they will expire in the end. However, you still have a good year to spend your points: On November 2, 2026, it will be over for good.
What happens to my trophies? Sony promises that you will still have access to your digital collectibles and trophies. After July 23, 2025, there will simply be no further campaigns through which you can unlock new items.
Important information at a glance:
- PlayStation Stars will no longer accept new members for this version of the program.
- If members cancel their PlayStation Stars membership from today, rejoining this version of the program will no longer be possible, and the members will lose all earned points.
- Current PlayStation Stars members can still collect digital collectibles and points and upgrade their status until July 23, 2025 (at 7:59 AM PDT | 3:59 PM BST | 11:59 PM JST). After this date, there will be no new PlayStation Stars campaigns available, and no additional rewards or status benefits can be earned anymore.
- This version of the PlayStation Stars program will completely end on November 2, 2026. Current PlayStation Stars members can continue to redeem points as long as their points do not expire by then.
