A computer mouse is currently shocking the community. Because the mouse is hardly recognizable as such, having been used for only a few months.
Mouse and keyboard are an essential part of daily life for most people who play or work on a PC. Therefore, they are typically devices that wear out and deteriorate quickly.
A user has now presented his father’s mouse after 5 months of use, surprising the community.
“Is your father a mud devil?”
What does the mouse look like? As you can see in the title image and the official post, the mouse is heavily soiled and worn. The Logitech logo on the top can barely be read with a lot of effort. When the user is asked why his father doesn’t clean the mouse regularly, he explains that the mouse will just get dirty again:
I asked him why he doesn’t just clean it for heaven’s sake, and he always says, why clean it when it will just get dirty again.
A user questions on Reddit visibly irritated: “Is your father a mud devil?” and others want to know if he never washes his hands, given how dirty the mouse looks. However, the user does not reveal what profession the father has in his responses.
That’s why you should clean your mouse and keyboard: In general, you should regularly clean your peripherals, especially your mouse and keyboard. These devices attract bacteria: Several studies report that you can find more germs on your keyboard than on an average toilet seat.
A few years ago, British consumer protectors tested dozens of keyboards in an office for health risks and also warned about high germ levels (Source: srf.ch).
The cleaning of mouse and keyboard does not seem to be particularly popular in our community either.
