In Call of Duty: Cold War and CoD Warzone, there are new challenges related to zombies coinciding with the start of Season 2. For each of the 18 tasks, there is a unique reward.
This is what you can currently do: The Season 2 in Cold War and Warzone has started, and accordingly, there are some tasks you can complete in both games.
For each task, you will receive a cosmetic reward that you can use completely free of charge. We will show you the tasks and reveal which rewards you can obtain.
All new zombie tasks for Cold War and Warzone
These are the tasks for Cold War: In Cold War, there are a total of 9 tasks that you can complete. There are cosmetic rewards for all challenges:
- Gas Mask (Talisman): Evacuate successfully 3 times in Outbreak
- Amigos (Sticker): Eliminate 250 zombies in Outbreak
- Dark Aether (Accessory): Eliminate 10 elite enemies in Outbreak
- Grasping for Power (Sticker): Open 25 chests in Outbreak
- Pure Anguish (Talisman): Complete 3 world events in Outbreak
- On the Move (Calling Card): Wrap up 10 times in Outbreak
- Special Eliminations (Calling Card): Eliminate 3 special zombies in Outbreak
- Not the Last (Emblem): Use vehicles to eliminate 100 zombies in Outbreak
- Patching Up (Badge): Complete 10 objectives in Outbreak
You will eventually complete all tasks in Outbreak if you play regularly. No task is particularly tricky, but rather time-consuming. If you want all the rewards, you just need to play a lot.
These are the tasks for Warzone: There are also 9 tasks here, all revolving around the new zombies on the map. We will show you what you need to do:
- Aim for the Head (Calling Card): Kill 20 zombies in Warzone with headshots
- Cleaner (Talisman): Eliminate 20 zombies in Warzone
- Strange Emission (Emblem): Kill 8 zombies in Warzone with lethal equipment
- Skull Survivor (Emblem): Use vehicles in Warzone to eliminate 3 zombies
- Heads Blazin’ (Sticker): Eliminate 15 zombies in Warzone 3 times in one match
- Shotgun Eliminations (Calling Card): Eliminate 8 zombies in Warzone with shotguns
- One Hit, Two Hits (Calling Card): Kill 2 or more zombies in quick succession in Warzone
- Immolation (Emblem): Use pistols in Warzone to eliminate 8 zombies
- Quick Elimination (Calling Card): Eliminate 8 zombies in Warzone before the first circle closes
Again, the tasks are fairly easy to solve, and you will likely have completed most challenges after your first rounds in Warzone.
Are the rewards worth it? All rewards are purely cosmetic. You gain no gameplay advantage from them. So you won’t really get better from this.
So everyone must decide for themselves whether they want to complete all challenges for the rewards. However, the tasks can also be completed alongside, so you don’t really need to invest additional time.
This is what else is there in Season 2: Season 2 has a lot in store for players of Cold War and Warzone. In the battle royale Warzone, there are map adjustments and new game modes. In Cold War, there is the zombie mode Outbreak and further adjustments.
