The Summer Game Fest 2024 by Geoff Keighley provided us with numerous trailers for new games. The developer of the popular Steam title Choo-Choo Charles also presents his new game. This time it is not a horror game but a colorful fever dream.
Who is it about? It is about the young developer Gavin Eisenbeisz, who conquered the Steam charts with his game Choo-Choo Charles. He taught himself development at a young age and achieved a hit on Steam with his game, receiving over 13,000 positive reviews (via Steam DB).
In the opening show of this year’s Summer Game Fest, the trailer for his new game will be shown. Cuffbust is surprisingly not a horror game but a fun co-op title where you and your friends try to escape from a prison.

What is the new game about? The developer releases a video shortly after the announcement of Cuffbust on his YouTube channel, where he discusses the idea of the game and its background.
Cuffbust is a multiplayer game that allows you to play with up to 20 people. Additionally, the game features a proximity chat, which means you can hear each other in the game, but not when you’re at a greater distance.
The goal of the game is to escape from a prison. You can throw soap at guards, blow up prison doors, and try to escape with a helicopter.
When will the game be released? The game is expected to be released in 2025. However, the developer directly states in his trailer that it might come out this year and that he is not sure when the game will actually be released.
