In the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, there is much to discover, and animal lovers also get their money’s worth in this cowboy adventure. What happens when you take the love for animals to the extreme and simply swap the protagonist of the campaign for a bird? The modder jedijosh920 shows how RDR2 looks from a bird’s perspective.
Cowboy game as a bird: Red Dead Redemption 2 offers a huge world where a lot of love for detail has been put into nature. Countless wild animals roam the meadows, and diverse birds dominate the skies.
But what does the world of Red Dead actually look like through the eyes of a bird? The modder jedijosh920 demonstrates this in one of his latest videos.
As a colorful parrot, he soars above the dense forests, chasing native bird species and enjoying a relaxing flight over roaring waterfalls and mist-covered mountains. In another scene, he is out as a curious songbird exploring smog-laden Saint Denis.
The realism of birds in RDR2 has already been praised by an expert.
His adventure could be calm and relaxed, if he didn’t push his luck too much around 13 minutes into the video by flying low over a settlement. Some gunslingers notice the bird and immediately start shooting at him.

How did the modder do that? Red Dead Redemption 2 is not available on PC, even though there are always rumors of a release. So jedijosh920 modded his save file on the console.
This violates the terms of use, which is why his mods are not available for download.
What else does the modder do? However, jedijosh920 doesn’t just play around with different bird species in Red Dead Redemption 2. He gets up to all sorts of mischief with his modding. For example, he swaps Arthur Morgan for a bear or makes Jack Marston, John Marston’s son, playable.
