As promised, our SMITE giveaway is entering its second round. This time, we are raffling off 3 keys that allow you to unlock the god “Bakasura” along with his alternate skin. The hungry little assassin just received a complete graphical overhaul a few days ago – and with a bit of luck, you’ll soon feast on the battlefield with him!
The Hindu god “Bakasura” is actually a demon. According to legend, he lived near a forest village and demanded a cart full of food from the residents every day, which was to be brought to his cave. However, Bakasura did not only feast on the fruits and vegetables of the villagers, he also devoured the bearer of the food each time. It was the chosen twins of Hinduism who put an end to Bakasura, as they had already defeated many demons before. But the demon of hunger can never be defeated for long, and he is once again wandering around – with an appetite for “more divine” food…
In SMITE, Bakasura is an assassin, and his insatiable hunger is reflected in almost all his abilities. He can simply devour enemy soldiers (“Minions”) and heal himself in the process; once he goes on the attack, the devoured minions are spewed back up and fight on his side this time, to provide their master with a new meal.
