Kinetics, Berserkers, and Archers are currently the strongest DPS classes in Skyforge
Skyforge now has over 1 million created avatars. The fresh Free2Play MMO is growing and thriving. In a video “interview” with the developers, they outline some of the big plans for the future.
This is how they want to adjust the balance. In PvE, the Kinetics and Berserkers are the strongest damage dealers, while in PvP the Archer is leading. Here, careful actions will be taken, strengthening the support classes as well.
At the moment, the Allods team, supported by Obsidian, is focusing on the gameplay, wanting to make it more accessible and enjoyable. The planned cosmetic changes, such as more hairstyles, will have to wait a bit. However, there will still be new costumes and headgear.
And they also want to revise the “Divine Form”. Currently, it comes late, and there seems to be too little reason to slip into the divine form once you have it.
A major patch arrives on November 12th
Tomorrow, on November 12th, the next major content patch for Skyforge is coming: “Journey of the Divine.” The maintenance works will take place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Invasions will now have “Avatars”, basically end bosses;
- the gods can further specialize;
- the guilds, the Pantheons, will get “Junior” departments,
- the Atlas of Progress will be better navigable
- and the heroes can now choose their rewards in some adventures.
