The upcoming action MMO Skyforge now presents the endgame in a blog post.
The difference between a God and an Immortal is said to be as great as that between an Immortal and a Human, they promise in Skyforge. “God” – that is the ultimate endgame in the game. Details on what it is like to be a God have not yet been revealed. From the past, we already know that you can come to the aid of friends, be “called, summoned, longed for” by them, and that in God Mode, it feels like you are in God Mode.
So how does one get there? You must participate in endgame activities. Skyforge presents these in a blog post. Here, you remain true to the “instanced” line.
PvE endgame: From small things to invasions
In pure PvE, there will be 4 options:
- Pull (in the sense of platoon, not in the sense of tooting): These are 10-man raids, but they are supposed to be relatively straightforward and easy. Here you can loot rings.
- Anomaly: Here, 5 players are on the team, but the area is large and other groups are fighting here as well. You bring enemies to one spot, eliminate them there, and try to achieve kill streaks.
- Distortions: These are PvE arenas where you fight against increasingly difficult opponents with 10 players. It is probably a kind of boss fight sequence, where the opponents are supposed to be quite challenging.
In addition, there will be invasions, server-wide events with multiple phases in Skyforge.
The PvP/PvE endgame: The Pantheon Wars
For PvP, there will be a league mode for guilds. A guild needs 100 players to participate in it. 50 will then be sent into PvP against other guilds (Pantheons), while 50 others will compete in PvE against monsters and collect points.
Later, when several strong guilds have formed, they want to divide them into divisions, between which players can be promoted or relegated.
