Among the classes in the deity MMO Skyforge, the Lightbinder stands out as a support class. He can determine victory and defeat in team fights and ventures.
When the first PvP tests launched in Russia, one in three wanted to be a Cryomancer: The ice mage has range and CC advantages in PvP, while the Lightbinder turned out to be the least desired class. Yet even back then, the Allods team advocated for the supporter: “He increases a team’s chances of victory! Give him a try!”
The Lightbinder is the closest thing to a healer in Skyforge. However, the classic healer was removed from the classes, as he did not fit into the action concept of the game. Players heal themselves now by collecting orbs.
Nevertheless, the Lightbinder can influence the ebb and flow of a battle with a variety of protective and strengthening spells. Many of his spells are also useful in solo play, dealing damage to opponents here. In team fights, they can be applied to allies to provide buffs.
Even those who are not fans of such classes will be tempted by Skyforge’s mission design to give them a try. There are missions that grant double rewards if played with a specific class. This way, even the toughest mage girls can slip into the role of a Lightbinder.
