The god MMO Skyforge from Team Allods and Obsidian Entertainment is set to enter a closed beta this year.
The word has been out, whether divine or not: At Gamescom in Cologne, a date for the closed beta would be announced. What else could you expect from a game that has been accepting applications for the beta on its homepage for months and speaks of revealing important beta information in Cologne? Hardly a cancellation.
However, they didn’t get too specific, only mentioning “Q4 2014” and leaving themselves a comfortable time window.
Skyforge plans to make its big appearance in Cologne on Saturday, August 16, when a major live stream for the game will start. For the first time, the public will get to enjoy a live demo – at 3 PM our time, and of course on Twitch.
