What is Skull and Bones? Skull and Bones is a pirate MMO announced years ago by Ubisoft. “Skull and Bones” was first announced in 2016. The promise: A standalone version of the naval battles from Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. Since then, Skull and Bones has been postponed constantly.
However, the game is supposed to finally be released in February 2024. After years of delays. Before that, there will be an open beta for all players and potential doubters.

Is it worth it at all? First of all, the open beta is free, so you won’t pay a cent and only need to start the large download. Additionally, Ubisoft promises that you will be able to carry over your progress to the full game afterwards. The entire game world should already be available to you in the open beta.
If you don’t trust the game after so many delays or want to buy the game anyway, you should definitely take a look at the open beta. You won’t get a better chance to convince yourself of the game or to gather some progress.
