Fortnite: Battle Royale has a few new skins in store for the shop. The first one is a steampunk pilot. However, more creepy skins are likely in the works.
What has been leaked so far? In the code of Season 6 and the first Update 6.0, three new outfits with gear were found. The two Oktoberfest skins Ludwig and Heidi are already available in the shop.
However, the outfit Airheart is still missing.
These skins will likely be in the shop soon
This is the outfit: From the last leak, the outfit Airheart is still remaining. It features a red-haired woman in a steampunk pilot outfit. She wears a bomber jacket, goggles, and a hip belt. According to the leak, it will only have the rarity level “Rare” and will cost 1,200 V-Bucks (12 Euros).
This is the back bling: Airheart will also get a back piece. The back bling is a type of retro jetpack called “Airflow”.
This is the new glider: As a pilot, Airheart has her own glider as a skin. It’s called “Dirigible” and looks like two zeppelins that have been put together to form a glider and are powered by propellers. The glider is supposed to be epic and will cost 1,200 V-Bucks (12 Euros).
Who is this skin referencing? Amelia Mary Earhart was an American pilot, women’s rights advocate, and bestselling author. She is known as the first woman to fly across the Atlantic. She has been missing since 1937. To this day, people are fascinated by her achievements, her life, and her disappearance.
Image reveals new creepy skins
What else is there? In addition to the rather sparse leaks from Update 6.0, there are new hints about skins from the first bonus image of the hunt group challenge. There are a total of four skins visible. The new title heroine Calamity and the Battle Pass skin “Saddled Up” are already known.
But those who look closely will see two more skins hanging around in the image:
- In the back of the image sits a blonde woman on the fence, who seems to be wearing some kind of armor.
- On the right side of the image, there is a figure seen opening the fence. It looks like a creepy scarecrow.
That these two skins are in the image is probably not a coincidence. They might appear in upcoming updates and play a role in the story of Season 6.
Female wolf at the end of the season? If Epic follows the current trend, there will be a female version of the werewolf (Level 100 in the Battle Pass) towards the end of the season.
So far, there has always been a version of the last skin in the opposite gender. In Season 4 it was Oblivion (female Omega) and in Season 5 Valkyrie, the female version of Ragnarök.
