Blizzard promised to regularly present new information to fans about Diablo 4. However, the last information briefing was a while ago. Therefore, fans have inquired and finally received an answer. Unfortunately, you will have to wait a bit longer before there is anything new about Diablo 4.
What are the information briefings about? Since Blizzard announced Diablo 4 as an upcoming release at BlizzCon 2019, the developers promised to regularly present new information to fans. After all, the fourth installment of the monster hunt is highly anticipated and the information remains quite sparse.
New information about Diablo 4 from the developers is expected at least quarterly. Since the last briefing was in February 2020, there should be another one soon. But when?
A new briefing is coming a bit later
This is the date of the next information briefing from Blizzard: A fan asks on Twitter when the next briefing will finally come. If it is quarterly, then late May to late June 2020 would be a possible timeframe. Could they not release any information then?
And indeed, Blizzard announced the end of June 2020 as the targeted timeframe for when the next information update could come.
What could be included in the briefing? According to the Polish site mmorpg.org.pl, this time it could revolve around topics such as the item system, PvP, or the end-game activities. Information about new classes would also be great, but they are expected more at a later major event like BlizzCon.
So far, only sparse information about Diablo 4 has been released. However, we already know that there will be at least the classes Sorceress, Barbarian, and Druid. Additionally, the new game will have a particularly dark look. After Diablo 3 was often criticized for being too colorful, the latest installment is set to be much scarier. This even provides the new head, Rod Fergusson, with “material for nightmares“.
