Registrations for gamescom now started on August 9. You can now participate in the major community event of the gamescom 2021 called EPIX and with a bit of luck grab limited prizes.
What is gamescom now? gamescom now is the go-to place for gamers who want to get the most out of gamescom 2021. It is a community hub where you can register for free to follow the shows and streams of gc21.
The site has been revamped this year and offers an improved user interface that is also optimized for mobile devices. Registration also gives you additional benefits:
- Here you have an overview of all shows and the content of gamescom partners: All shows, trailers, interviews, and other information are centrally bundled
- Registered users can receive various goodies on the pages of gamescom partners
- You can create your own watch list of streams that interest you

If you register for gamescom now, you will automatically gain access to EPIX.
What is EPIX? This is the major community event of gamescom 2021. Together with other participants, you can complete various quests as a community that span all the social media channels of gamescom: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and more. The first quest has already begun and is about Twitter.
In total, there will be 15 quests that the community can tackle. Once all are completed, the vault of gamescom opens, and loot will be distributed. A small preview of this is already visible on the gamescom now page (via now.gamescom.de).
This includes, for example, discount codes for goodies from the gamescom store or for Panasonic brand electronics in the manufacturer’s online stores. There will be prizes for all registered users, but also other special prizes that you can grab with a bit of luck. What exactly they are has not been revealed. However, they are supposed to be “exclusive and strictly limited” items.
