For many months, Pia Shurjoka
Scholz has been confronted with criticism and malicious comments in the German Twitch scene. One of her critics is Tobias Huch, against whom she has now successfully obtained a temporary injunction
in court.
There have been tensions between Pia Shurjoka Scholz and Tobias Huch for some time. Some streamers, YouTubers, and content creators like Scurrows, KuchenTV, MontanaBlack88, and also Tobias Huch regularly attack the streamer.
The fact that Shurjoka became massively targeted by various influencers and opinion bloggers began with her being awarded Player of the Year 2023
. That was in May 2023. Since then, hundreds of videos have appeared on YouTube positioning themselves against Shurjoka.
Tobias Huch has repeatedly expressed criticism of Shurjoka in recent months and has published a considerable number of reaction videos in which she was prominently featured in the thumbnail and her name appeared in the title.
Now Shurjoka has been able to obtain a temporary injunction
against YouTuber and FDP politician Tobias Huch in court.

This is the court ruling: Shurjoka announced on X that the Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main classified the statements made by Tobias Huch as impermissible defamatory criticism violating personal rights
.
The streamer also writes:
[…] He is obliged to remove and refrain from the affected videos, streams, tweets, and other contributions as they are unlawful.

Shurjoka wins case: Temporary injunction against Tobias Huch
Shurjoka further explained on X that it is a temporary injunction
and that the legal options have not yet been fully exhausted. Because there is the possibility of appealing to the next higher instance – the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main. As Shurjoka emphasizes, she was able to enforce all submitted injunction requests
against Tobias Huch in a proceeding last week.
Which injunction requests these are in detail has not yet been disclosed by the streamer.
The court decision obliges Tobias Huch to refrain from the statements listed in the injunction and to remove videos, streams, tweets, and other contributions that contain these statements as they have been classified as unlawful.
You can see her X-thread on this here:
This is what Tobias Huch says about the ruling: The YouTuber emphasized on X that this is a highly controversial provisional ruling
, thus not a judgment. He will extensively address the issue and appeal to the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt. The written ruling has not been made public.
According to Tobias Huch, the proceeding was about:
Specifically, it was about my criticism of her regarding her behavior towards the Jewish influencer Der_aqeualist. I was provisionally (!) prohibited from making a statement about that. Shurjoka can share what was really prohibited.

Shurjoka reacted in a stream in September 2023 to the TikTok influencer and YouTuber Der Äqualist
. She said she had seen videos (via X) from her in which extremely problematic takes on slavery and the relativization and associated trivialization of the Holocaust were expressed
.
Later, Shurjoka apologized for her tone towards Der Äqualist
on X and emphasized that her (Shurjoka’s) reaction was disrespectful, but she stands by her classification.
Tobias Huch also set up a donation page where he also addresses the dispute:
[…] Or is it a Shurjoka who causes harm with her toxic bubble among opinion YouTubers – whose opinions she does not like – when she tries to cancel them? For example, the streamer KuchenTV was recently banned on Twitch after she incited against his account on Twitter. The mass reports led to his ban. Currently, Shurjoka has identified me as an opponent and is suing me because she does not like what I say about her, after she spread about the Jewish influencer “Der Aequalist” that she would relativize the Holocaust. She sees my statements as impermissible. My lawyers and I see it differently. In the end, the courts will have to decide. The next instance is the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt. […]

What exactly the temporary injunction states is not entirely clear
In response to the X post by Tobias Huch, Shurjoka writes that his claim is not true.
To which she says:
[…] The temporary injunction states something completely different. You do have it, right? Why are you claiming something that is factually incorrect?
You received a ruling because you disseminated defamatory criticism violating personal rights.

After that, she shared a list showing the number of videos from Tobias Huch (at that time) about her. You can see the list here:
After the ruling, Tobias Huch also uploaded a video about Shurjoka today, on March 8, 2024. These reaction videos and others from other streamers and YouTubers like KuchenTV and Scurrows have regularly put her in the spotlight.
